Not solely is that the tv absolutely 3D compliant with the new standards, it is also a wonderful 2nd LCD tv in addition. The 3D aspects of the tv are the foremost attention-grabbing and what separates it from most different LCD's (including Samsung's 650 model). though there's not abundant in terms of content to undertake out, I actually have watched Monsters Vs. Aliens 3D, Played Avatar the videogame on the PS3, watched the Masters in 3D, and tried out the 2nd to 3D Conversion on live TV, movies, and games. Unfortunately with all 3D sources, I actually have experienced some ""ghosting"" that may be a downside where you see a double image. That said, I did manage to configure my Samsung 3D Bluray Player to the proper TV size (by default it's fifty five inches) and I upgraded the firmware which looks to own created an outsized improvement. i believe the image size spreads out the impact and can cause even additional ghosting than traditional. With Avatar the sport, I left the 3D impact at one, set the proper TV size and viewing distance, and selected aspect by aspect 3D (you ought to set the TV to match this) and also the impact was brilliant! I do still see ghosting throughout cut scenes, however throughout gameplay it's fantastic.
