I have contacts but i put my seeing glasses on to test and yes you can comfortably wear them with the 3d glasses. As far as im concerned the movies are just a bonus for the.....""cheap"" price of $220 for 2 pair of 3d glasses. Ok so, the glasses work. Lights on, lights off,I watched the IMAX: Under the Sea (Single Disc Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray Combo) all the way through and had no problems. And they are not the most stylish things, I know your not out in public, hangin out in your own house you dont need to be all decked out, but still there like 7 inches wide and make you look like a futuristic space pilot! Wich is cool, but only if you in fact are a futuristic space pilot. Seriously tho they are probly like that so people can wear their normal seeing glasses under the 3d ones. Roy Orbison may have some issues, but i didnt. They should have made the ear pieces bend both ways, like my seeing glass frames, but the didnt so you need to be a little carful with them. Each pair came with its own holding bag, with the price we pay for these you think they would each have a hard shell case, but no. Just treat them like you would any other pair of $200 sunglasses and i dont think youll have a problem. And no i dont have any kids so if you do...hehe... well they need to be careful. Tv will have four hdmi inputs and television is nice thus far. Huge screen and also the image is great! Haven't tried 3d however got likelihood to look at one or two 3d movies and that i got to say it's manner higher than the UN55c8000.
